Louise Harvell
Honea Path – Louise Jones Harvell, 92, wife of 68 years to the late Olin Harvell, passed into heaven Tuesday, September 5, 2017.
Born in Honea Path, she was a daughter of the late Riley and Nannie Sharp Jones. She was a lifetime member of Chiquola Baptist Church where she served as Sunday School teacher and childrens' leader. She was retired from Honea Path Shirtmakers and had formerly worked as a payroll accountant for Riegel Textile Company.
Surviving are a son, Dan Harvell of Honea Path, two grandchildren, Riley Harvell (wife Erin) and Ellison Harvell. Three great-grandchildren, Olin, Adger, and Penni Harvell. She was pre-deceased by a brother, Thomas Jones.
A memorial service will be held at 11 A.M. Saturday, September 9, 2017 at Chiquola Baptist Church with the Revs. Ronnie Powell and T. Dale Lynch officiating.
The family will receive friends after the service at the church. The family requests that flowers be omitted and memorials made to Chiquola Baptist Church, 405 E. Greer St., Honea Path, SC 29654. Online condolences may be made at www.ParkerWhitePruitt.com
