Born in Atlanta GA, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Myrtice Ayers Hayes. She was a member of Ware Shoals First Baptist Church and a homemaker. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Surviving in addition to her husband of the home are: her son, John Hartline, Jr. of Joanna, her daughter, Reita (Steve) Pohlman of Due West, two grandchildren, Hunter (Ashley) Hartline and Steven (Jaime) Pohlman, Jr., and a great-granddaughter, Jensyn Elizabeth Hartline. She was preceded in death by her brother, John Hayes, and three sisters, Louise Lindsey, Annie Mae Ivey, and Annette Allen.
Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Sunday, July 2, 2017 at Parker-White Funeral Home with Rev. Leon Jones officiating. Entombment will follow at Oakbrook Memorial Park.
