Born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of the late Orvin Coleman and Rosa Lusk Griffin. She was a member of Chiquola Baptist Church and retired from Monsanto.
Surviving are: her son, Larry Ware of the home, a sister, Martha Butler of Greenwood, four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by three brothers and one sister.
Funeral services will be held at 1 P.M. Saturday, June 24, 2017 at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Powell officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
The family is at the home and will receive friends from 12-1 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home prior to the service.
