Born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of the late Edd, Jr, and Sara Hughes Gambrell. She was of the Baptist Faith and was retired from Oxford Industries.
Surviving are a son, Bryan Fountain (Allison) of Honea Path, two daughters, Bridgette Walker (Scott) of Saluda and Tanyale Carter (Jerry) of Honea Path, a brother Aubrey Gambrell, five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was pre-deceased by a brother, Mike Gambrell.
Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Sunday at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Shane Elrod. Burial will follow in Eastview Cemetery.
