Ware Shoals – Dorothy “Dot” Lou Ricketts Page, 91, widow of James Furman Page, of 619 Smith Street Ext., died Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at Wesley Commons.

Born in Abbeville County, she was a daughter of the late Ernest Stanley and Carrie Lou Mattison Ricketts. She was a member of Ware Shoals First Baptist Church and a member of the TEL-Dorcas Sunday School Class. She retired from Riegel Textile Corp. after 42 years of service.

Mrs. Page was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by two nephews, Wallace Dean Ricketts of Donalds and Dolan Ricketts of FL, and a niece, Brenda Ann McCall of Greenwood. She was predeceased by her brothers, S.L., Vernon, Casper, and Joe Ricketts, and her sisters, Lois Davis, Ruby Taylor, and Margaret Gosnell.

Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Saturday, June 17, 2017 at Ware Shoals First Baptist Church with Rev. Leon Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.

The family is at their respective homes and will receive friends from 1-2 P.M. Saturday at the church prior to the service.
