Clarence “Bud” Chapman

Ware Shoals – Clarence “ Bud” Chapman, 93, husband of Sarah Howard Chapman, of 8 Oak Street, died Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at his home.

Born in Greenwood County, he was a son of the late Clifton and Mary Livingston Chapman. He was a member of the West Main Street Church of God and was a veteran of the U.S. Army, World War II and Korea. He was retired from Riegel Textile Co.

Surviving are his wife of the home, a son, Terry Clarence Chapman (Pat) of Seneca, and a grandson, Tray Dorn of Meridian, Miss. He was pre-deceased by five brothers, Marvin, Frank, J.C., Clint, and Grady Chapman, and two sisters, Pauline Abrams and Louise Postell.

Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Thursday at Parker-White Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Byron Wood officiating. Burial will be private.

The family is at the home and will receive friends from 1 to 2 P.M. Thursday at Parker-White Funeral Home prior to the service. Memorials may be made to Hospice of S.C., 326 Montague Ave., Greenwood, SC 29646. Online condolences may be made at www.ParkerWhitePruitt.com
