Born in Honea Path, she was a daughter of the late Roy Lee and Mary P. Phillips. She was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church and the Willing Workers Sunday school class. She was a homemaker, and had also worked as a sales clerk at Honea Path Pharmacy. She loved the Lord, and loved to serve others.
In addition to her husband of the home, Mrs. Robinson is survived by two sons: Dr. Christopher Joe Robinson and wife Stephanie of Mt. Pleasant and Michael Robert Robinson and wife Brittney of Summerfield, NC; two sisters: Yvonne Hall of Honea Path and Marie Marler of Ware Shoals; and three grandchildren: Christopher Joe “C. J.” Robinson, Jr., Aiden Patrick Robinson and Elexa Corvin Robinson.
Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, May 31 at M. J. “Dolly Cooper” Veterans’ Cemetery in Anderson with Rev. Wendell Bannister and Rev. Daryle Hawthorne officiating.
The family is at their respective homes and will receive friends Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:30 at Pruitt Funeral Home.
