Born in Anderson County, he was a son of the late Charles Lindbergh and Zella Joyce Barnes Clary. He was of the Baptist Faith. Bruce was employed by Belton Metal for 37 years, when not working, he was a family man who loved his family and friends beyond words. His passion for life was contagious, he loved to make everyone happy and whenever he was around there was always laughter. Bruce enjoyed hunting, fishing, and Clemson football.
Surviving are his wife of the home, two sons, Derrick Clary (Hope) and Joey “Bobo” Clary all of Honea Path, five brothers, Mike Clary (Marie) of Ware Shoals, Johnny Clary (Lana) of LaGrange, Ga., Jimmy Clary of Gaffney, Ricky Clary (Betty Jo) of Spartanburg, and Eddie Fisher (Sandy) of Anderson, a sister, Nancy Clary Page (Irvin) of Greenville, two grandchildren, Terri Clary and Koda Cary, and a great-grandson Mason Odom and numerous nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by three brothers, Freddy, Tony, and Ronnie Clary.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel at 2 P.M. with Rev. Mike Clary and Rev. Charles Fuller officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories.
