Elic Cann

Hodges - Elic Rayburn Cann, 78, husband of Frances Ann Burry Cann, of 2101 Nation Rd, died Wednesday March 29, 2017 at Self Regional Medical Center.

Born in Greenwood County, he was a son of the late Marshall and Bertha Ellis Cann. He was a member of Walnut Grove Baptist Church. Mr Cann was a retired veteran of the United States Army where he served in Korea and Vietnam during his 29 year career. He was also a cattle farmer and member of the V.F.W.

Surviving in addition to his wife of the home are: two sons, Ryan Elic Cann (Amy) of Greer and Aaron Cann of the home, three daughters, Phyllis “Penny” McClintock of Hodges, Linda Baker of Columbia and Kimberly Hill (Timothy) of Union, one brother, Jesse Lee Cann (Elizabeth) of Hodges, fourteen grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday April 1, 2017 at Walnut Grove Baptist Church with Rev Charles Robertson officiating. Burial will follow in Oakbrook Memorial Park.

The family is at their respective homes and will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Friday March 31, 2017 at Parker White Funeral Home.
