Mary Ann was raised on a farm in Anderson County, SC. She was a graduate of Winthrop College with a degree in Business Education and taught in the Ware Shoals, SC school system.
She was married to William Davis Inabnit of SC.
After her husband's death in 1984, she worked for 30 years at Belk Library, Elon University.
Mary Ann was the mother of six children: William Inabnit (Beth), Anna Barton (Jim), Suzanne Bowman (Bill), Mary Allison (Ethan), Martha Martin(Ed) and John Inabnit (Lauren); 11 grandchildren: Will and Matthew Inabnit, Sallie Anna and David Barton, Patrick and Reid Bowman, Martin and Grant Allison, Davis Martin, Jack and Lane Inabnit.
She loved The Lord.
She loved her family.
She loved her friends.
She loved her church.
Visitation will be on Friday, March 31, 2017 at 6:00 pm at Rich and Thompson Funeral Home, Burlington, NC.
Funeral services will be on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at 10:00 am at Front Street United Methodist Church, Burlington, NC.
A burial service will be on Sunday, April 2, 2017 at 1:30 pm at Greenwood Memorial Gardens, Greenwood, SC.
Memorials may be given to The Ministries of Front Street United Methodist Church or The Hospice Home in Burlington.
