Born in Laurens County, he was a son of the late Robert and Essie Burton Henderson. He was a member of West Main Street Church of God and retired from Mt. Vernon Mills. Hack was a veteran of the South Carolina Army National Guard.
Surviving in addition to his loving wife of the home are: his daughter, Stacia May of Greenwood, two brothers, Robert Henderson of Powersville and Melvin (Ann) Henderson of AL, three sisters, Shirley Williams of Jacksonville, NC, Margaret (Byron) Vaigneur of Jackson, SC and Betty (Buzz) McNelley of WV, and two grandsons, Ryan and Wesley Dobbins. He was predeceased by two brothers, Charles and Joseph Henderson, and a sister, Helen Smith.
Graveside services will be held at 11 A.M. Friday, March 24, 2017 at Greenwood Memorial Gardens with Rev. John Tyson officiating.
The family is at the home of his daughter, 127 Leland Ct., Greenwood, SC and will receive friends immediately following the services at the graveside.
