Honea Path – Eddie Johnny Posey, 54, husband of Donna Renee Houston Posey, of 222 Mountain Creek Road, died Sunday, March 12, 2017 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.

Born in Anderson County, he was a son of the late Carlton Leon and Bobbie Sue Campbell Posey. He was of the Pentecostal faith and a truck driver.

Surviving in addition to his wife of the home are: two sons, Eddie Justin (Jessica) Posey of Pelzer and Teddy “TJ” Douglas (Lesley) McCoy, Jr., of Westminister, his daughter, Kimberlee (Dalton) Collen of Pelzer, his sister, Susan Alvarez of Honea Path, and nine grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Travis McCoy and a brother, Kenneth Posey.

Graveside services will be held at 3 P.M. Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at Eastview Cemetery with Rev. Paul Cooper officiating.
