Edna Robbins

Greenville – Edna Rebecca Whitt Robbins, 74, of 131 Pelham Spring Place, died Friday, December 30, 2016 at McCall Hospice House.

Born in Laurens County, she was a daughter of the late John Thompson and Janie Bell Medlock Whitt. She accepted Christ and was baptized at Columbia Baptist Church. She was retired from Michelin, Greenville Plant, and later worked at Homewood Assisted Living. She was a loving mother and caregiver to those in need.

Surviving are her son, Mark Andrew Chapman (Karen) of Winnsboro, a brother, Russell Whitt of Honea Path, three sisters, Vera Bannister and Shelby Seawright both of Honea Path, and Cynthia Hardwick of Greenville, and a grandson, Caleb Andrew Chapman. She was pre-deceased by six brothers, John, Joe, Richard, Alfred, Wayne, and Larry Whitt.

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at Columbia Baptist Church With Rev. Keith Darnell, Rev. Eddie Howard, and Rev. Mark Chapman officiating. Burial will follow in Greenville Memorial Gardens.

The family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends from 12:30 to 2 PM Saturday, January 7, 2017 at Columbia Baptist Church prior to the service. Online condolences may be made at www.ParkerWhitePruitt.com
