Born in Clarke County GA, she was the daughter of the late Marvin and Ella Edmonds Hembree. She was a member of Zion Assembly Church of God and retired from Monsanto.
Surviving in addition to her devoted husband of 67 years of the home are: three sons, Lamar (Rita) Morrell of Powdersville, Marcus (Donna) Morrell of Easley, and Byron (Cindy) Morrell of Greer, her daughter, Sandra (Wayne) Moore of Ware Shoals, a brother, Hoyt (Ann) Hembree of Greenwood, eight grandchildren, April Bostic, Landon Brown, Shonda Liner, Drew Morrell, Mandy Merritt, Jaime Morrell, Zach Morrell and Zeke Morrell, eleven great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She was predeceased by a brother, Berlin Hembree and a grandchild, Lee Brown.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Friday, December 30, 2016 at Parker-White Funeral Home with Rev. Gregg Kelly and Rev. Faye Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
