Born in Greenwood County, he was a son of the late Lewyen “Lee” and Pearl Smith Cheshire. He was of the Baptist Faith and was employed at Capsugel for over 30 years.
Surviving are his wife of the home, a daughter, Bonnie (Benji) Ashley of Donalds, three sons, Jason (Lori) Cheshire of Greenville, Joshua (Kealah) Cheshire of Laurens, and Robbie (Adriana) Kay of Knoxville, TN., seven grandchildren, Nicole Kay, Alex Kay, Elizabeth Ashley, Michael Ashley, Collins Cheshire, Anna Cheshire and Kylie Cheshire and one great-granddaughter, Paisley Riffey. He was predeceased by four brothers, Donald, David, Charles, and Larry Cheshire, and a sister, Diane Lamb.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Thursday, December 22, 2016 at Parker-White Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dan Compton and Rev. Billie Lawson, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Daventon Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 P.M. Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at Parker-White Funeral Home. The family is at the home.
