Hazel Ashley Taylor

Honea Path – Hazel Clara Ashley Taylor, 92, widow of Waymon Monroe Taylor, formerly of 601 Brock Road, died Thursday, December 15, 2016 at The Renaissance in Due West.

Born in Abbeville County, she was a daughter of the late Eugene and Olivia Ashley. She was a member of Keowee Baptist Church and was retired from Huggins Garment Co. of Donalds.

She is survived by a sister, Loraine Gilmer of Anderson and several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by two brothers, Barron and Leland Ashley, and four sisters, Nettie Strickland, Annie Bell, Vera Gambrell, and Betty Jean Rucker.

Funeral services will be held at 3 P.M. Saturday, December 17, 2016 at Keowee Baptist Church with Rev. Tony Lee officiating. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery.
