Born in Simpsonville, she was a daughter of Doris Medlock Brooks and the late Joseph Curtis Brooks. She was a member of Columbia Baptist Church and was employed by the Greenville County Auditors Office. She loved to sing, but most of all she loved spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren.
Surviving are her husband of the home, her mother of Honea Path, a son, Curtis Campbell of Belton, two daughters, Krystal Mahon (Jonathan) and Tiffany Campbell, both of Belton, four sisters, Betty Cain (Winford) of Honea Path, Janice Pruitt (Randy) of Honea Path, Wanda Bolden (Chuck) of Belton, and Teresa Davis of Honea Path, four grandchildren, Evan Pettay, Lexie Mahon, Justin Mahon, Charli Campbell and mother Janine Crockett. She was an aunt and great-aunt. She was pre-deceased by a niece, April Pruitt.
Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at Columbia Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Cedar Shoals Baptist Church Cemetery.
