Born in Greenwood County, she was a daughter of the late Charles W. and Corrie Tinsley Shaver. She was a member of Rice Memorial Baptist Church in Greenwood .She was retired from Vanderbilt University Hospital of Nashville, Tn. After serving many years as a Nurse Anesthetist where her motto was “Once a Nurse, Always a Nurse”.
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by her caregivers, Toni Culbreath (Hix) and Lula Pruitt, five nephews, Calvin Shaver(Marti), Donnie Shaver, Rhett Shaver(Hannah), Danny Attaway and Jimmy Attaway, one niece, Linda Parker, a great nephew, Charles Parker, three great nieces, Tracy Carr, Teresa Bolen and Saya Shaver.
She was predeceased by four brothers, James Shaver, William G. “Buddy” Shaver, Lee Wesley Shaver, and Charles Junior Shaver, three sisters, Louise Shaver, Ruby Attaway and Corrie Tucker.
Graveside services will be held at 1 P.M. Friday December 2, 2016 at Greenwood Memorial Gardens with Rev Jimmy Tucker officiating.
