Born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, he was a son of the late Miguael and Anna Ravera Ramos. He was a member of Mt. Bethel Baptist Church and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, both Korean and Vietnam Wars. He was a Master Mason, a member of the Scottish Rite and the Omar Shrine Temple. He was retired from Charleston Shipyard.
Surviving are his wife of the home, two daughters, Stephany Ramos of San Diego, Ca. and Susan Hutchinson (Jamie) of Effingham, and three grandchildren. He was pre-deceased by two brothers, Michael and Robert Ramos.
Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Saturday at Mt. Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Chris Guire, Dr. Wayne Vickard, and Rev. Bill Lowe officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
