Born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of the late TL and Grace O’Dell Beasley Spence Meeks. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and graduated from Erskine College. She was a retired Medical Technologist.
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Surviving are: four aunts, Mattie Lou White, Annie Ruth Cox, Peggy Piazza, and Barbara Cox, and two uncles, Joseph E. Beasley and Thomas O. Beasley.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her grandmother, Winnie S. Beasley and her sister, Nell Marie Meeks.
Private graveside services will be held at a later date.
