Nora Martin Campbell

Honea Path – Nora Vera Parker Martin Campbell, 95, of 1024 Austin Road, widow of Harold Campbell, died Thursday, November 10, 2016 at The Maples.

Born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of the late Clyde W. and Flora Keaton Parker. She was a member of Barkers Creek Baptist Church, and was retired from her work as a Cloth Inspector for the Peerless Plant in Belton. She was twice married, first to the late John Newton Martin. She loved children, and doted on her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Ms. Campbell is survived by one son: Donnie Campbell (Becky) of Anderson; one daughter: Lorraine Stewart (Jim) of Williamston; one sister: Ella Mae Wright of Honea Path; four grandchildren: Brian Stewart of Piedmont, Kelley Stewart of Honea Path, Anna Franklin (Jordan) of Greenville, and Elana Roach (Tommy) of Pendleton; and six great-grandchildren: Kailey Jo Stewart, Kaigan Stewart, Keaton Stewart, Ayla Franklin, Elijah Franklin, and Gabrielle Roach.

She was preceded in death by four brothers: Carl Parker, Raymond Parker, Clyde William “Smiley” Parker, and Keaton Parker; and four sisters: Mildred Seel, Evelyn Byrd, Lucille Stansbury, and Lounelle Graham.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 PM Sunday, November 13th at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wesley Taylor and Rev. Arnold Hiette officiating. Burial will follow at 4:30 PM at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery in Easley (101 Pisgah Rd., Easley, SC 29642).

The family is at their respective homes, and will receive friends Sunday from 1:30 to 2:30 at the funeral home, prior to the service.
