Born in Evansville IN, she was a daughter of the late Lee and Lottie Lawrence Hayes. She was a member of Daventon Baptist Church and was retired from Gemco Department Store.
Surviving are: two sons, Billy Lee (Shari) Jeanes and Alan C. (Angie) Jeanes, all of Belton, her daughter, Sandra Irene Jeanes of Belton, her brother, Delma Hayes of IN, her sister, Emma Tucker of CA, eight grandchildren and 21 ½ great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1 P.M. Saturday, October 8, 2016 at Daventon Baptist Church with Rev. Eric Blackerby officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
