Hazel Fields

Honea Path – Hazel Elizabeth Daniel Fields, 92, of 916 Todd Road, widow of Andrew George Fields, died Sunday, July 24, 2016 at her home.

Born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of the late James Thomas, Sr. and Tabitha Lou Jenkins Daniel. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church. She was retired from Kendall Mills and was a homemaker.

Surviving are: three sons, Tony (Sylvia) Fields of Anderson, Frank (Jean) Fields of Danielsville GA, and Ronnie Fields of TN, two daughters, Elaine (Charles) Ashley of Belton and Diane (Mike) Ellett of Honea Path, a brother, W.C. “Buck” Daniel of Williston, fourteen grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was predeceased in death by three brothers, James, Jr., David “Jack”, and Alvin Daniel, and three sisters, Louise Arflin, Glenola Evatt, and Creabelle Griffin.

The family would like to thank Pruitt Health Hospice, all the nurses and pastor, for their kindness and care shown during her illness.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 28, 2016 at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Patrick Keown and Rev. Whitt Breazeale officiating. Burial will follow in Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery.
