Born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of the late Jason and Mary Margaret Whitt Brock. She was a homemaker, and was a member of Honea Path Pentecostal Holiness Church.
In addition to her husband of the home, Mrs. Garrett is survived by one brother: Jimmy Brock and wife Carolyn of Honea Path; one sister: Doris Abrams and husband John of Honea Path; a special niece: Rebecca Greenway of Honea Path; and a host of nephews.
She was preceded in death by one brother: Bobby Gene Brock, Sr. and one sister: Sybil Gambrell.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, May 30th, at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Shane Elrod officiating. Burial will follow at the Garden of Memories.
The family will be at their respective homes, and will receive friends from 12:00 – 1:00 PM Monday, prior to the service at the funeral home.
