Born in Anderson County, he was a son of the late Lynn Franklin and Cynthia Campbell Branyon. He was of the Baptist faith and worked at Hydro-Aluminum in Belton.
Surviving in addition to his wife of the home are: his step-father, Larry Fleming of Honea Path, four sons, Jack Cortez Branyon (Andrea) of Honea Path, Russelle Lee Branyon of Anderson, Jeffrey Scott Branyon of Greenville and Alex Marshall Branyon of the home; four daughters, Crystal Dawn Branyon-Hanks (Patrick) of Honea Path, Chloe Lynn Branyon, Cali Jo Branyon and Claudia Janell Branyon all of the home; step-son, Dendale Young; step-daughters, April Denise Harbin (Andy) and Summer Cantrell; brother, Louie Branyon of Honea Path a step-brother, Johnny Fleming (Sissy) of Augusta GA; sister, Brenda Branyon Picklesimer (Tommy) of Piedmont, two step-sisters, Kristie Keaton (Brian) of Anderson and Kathy Reedy of Augusta GA, ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He was predeceased by a son Dalton Aaron Branyon, a brother Donnie Branyon and a step-son Tommy Dale Holcombe, Jr.
The families are at their respective homes, and will receive friends, Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at 2 P. M. at the home of a son, Jack C. Branyon, 424 Hwy 185 N, Honea Path and at 6 P.M. Wednesday, at the home 100 Eastland Drive, Belton.
