Born in Charleston, SC, she was a daughter of the late John T. and Anna Malecek Baker. She was a member of Barker’s Creek Baptist Church. Mrs. Brandon was a homemaker, and formerly worked as a nurse.
She is survived by one son: Kenneth Brandon of Donalds; two daughters: Katherine Warren and husband Edward of Beaufort and Becky King and husband Wes of Taylors; and five grandchildren.
She is pre-deceased by two brothers: John and Louis Baker; five sisters: Marguerite Dawson, Adelaide Boyd, Audrey Baker, Evelyn Atwell, and Lilly Barnes; and one grandchild.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, April 6 at the Garden of Memories, with Rev. Wesley Taylor officiating. The family will receive friends at the Barker’s Creek Baptist Church from 12:30-1:30 on Wednesday, prior to the Graveside Service.
