Born November 4, 1951 in Hannibal, MO she was the daughter of the late Leslie Kenzler and Gertie Kenzler Smith. She was one of seven children. Predeceased by Kenneth Kenzler and Catherine “Kitty” Kenzler Curtis. Surviving are Ruth Ann Kenzler Carlson (husband Dave) of Alamo, TX, Freddie Kenzler (wife Phoebe) of Anderson, SC, Carol Kenzler Stewart (husband Floyd) of New London, MO, and Patty Kenzler McMahan of Honea Path.

She moved to SC with her family in 1967. In 1969 she met and married the late Jimmy Ray Bridges. It was then she became a loving mother. Together they had three daughters. Predeceased by Krissi Bridges Herring. Surviving are Kat Bridges Sullivan (husband Doug) of Williamston SC and Edna Ruth Bridges McDaniel (husband Ron) of the home. In 1975 she met and then married the late Ronald Boyd Evans. It was then another daughter joined the family, Rhonda Evans Porter of Clinton, SC.

She had seven grandkids. Predeceased by Brittany Ann Herring. Surviving are Allison Roach, Ashley Sullivan, Erica McJunkin, Kristen Harvey, Jeannie McDaniel and Abbey Sullivan. She also had seven great-grandchildren.

She was retired from Electrolux in Anderson, SC. She enjoyed spending time spoiling and taking care of her cats and dogs. Her church family is Austin Road Baptist Church in Honea Path, SC. Many people have worked very hard and tirelessly to give us the extra time we have had to spend time with mom

Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Saturday, March 12,2016 at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Billy Slatton officiating.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 2:00 P.M. Saturday at Pruitt Funeral Home prior to the service. The family will be at the home of her daughter, Kat Sullivan, 124 Bragg Drive, Williamston, SC 29697. .
