Born in Greenwood County, was a son of the late James H. and Mattie Mae Perry Williamson. He was a member of Broadmouth Baptist Church and a retired carpenter.
Surviving are: two sons, Robert P. Williamson of Honea Path, and Michael Ray Williamson of Anderson, two daughters, Gwendolyn (Perry) Threlkeld of Anderson, and Elizabeth Juanita Hall of Honea Path, a brother, David Theodore Williamson of Hickory Tavern, six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. He was predeceased by two brothers, Marion and Hubert Williamson, two sisters, Katherine Ridgeway and Verena Dabbs, a great-grandchild, Timothy Threlkeld, and a son-in-law, Bobby Hall.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at Eastview Cemetery with Rev. Justin Phillips officiating.
