Born in Abbeville County, she was a daughter of Dorothy Ables Ashley and the late James Ashley. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church and the Adult #2 Sunday School Class. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Abrams will be remembered as a great “NaNa”, who dearly loved her grandchildren.
Surviving in addition to her husband of the home and mother of Honea Path are: her son, Michael (Wendy) Abrams, Jr of Honea Path, her daughter, Michelle Black of the home, her brother, Jamie (Denise) Ashley and two sisters, Diane (Frankie) Giles and Jan Ashley, all of Honea Path, and three grandchildren, Cabot Black, Nichole and Kenyon Abrams.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 5, 2016 at Southside Baptist Church with Rev. Travis Dyer and Rev. Troy Crane officiating. Burial will follow in Garden of Memories.
The family is at the home of her son, 357 Tornado Rd, and will receive friends 12:30 – 2 p.m. Saturday at the church prior to the service.
