Born in Anderson County, he was a son of the late Jack T. and Barbara Eugenia Brooks Dixon. He was a member of Honea Path First Baptist Church.
Surviving are: his twin brother, Tony Brown and wife Robin of Honea Path, his aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Culberson of Anderson, five nieces and nephews, Tonya Stichling, Anthony Brown, Nikki, Emily, and Katie Brown, and numerous cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, January 29, 2016 at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Moody officiating. Burial will follow in Broadmouth Baptist Church Cemetery.
