Born in Marshville, WI, he was a son of the late Alvin George and Anna Pauline Kirschbaum Whitney. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
Surviving are a sister, Eileen Snyder of Ware Shoals, two nephews, Warren Lowe of Ware Shoals and Allen Lowe of Petaluma, CA, a niece, Jackie Krause of Ellensburg, WA., and a great nephew Charlie Lowe of Petaluma, CA.
Graveside services will be held at 1 PM Monday, November 16, 2015 at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Marshfield, WI. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Ware Shoals.
The family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends from 12 noon to 1 PM Monday at Rembs Funeral Home in Marshfield, WI, prior to the service. Memorials may be made to Mt.
