Born in Montclair, NJ, he was a son of the late Alfred and Genevieve Buttenbaum Jameson. He attended First Baptist Church of Spartanburg, and was retired from the United States Air Force as a Chief Master Sergeant, following 26 years of service to his country. He was also retired from Sloan Construction in Duncan, SC.
In addition to his wife of the home, Mr. Jameson is survived by two daughters: Julie Ryan of Ft. Walton Beach, FL and Tiffany Gardner of Navarre, FL; two brothers: Jack Jameson (Kathy) of Anderson and George Jameson (Joan) of Abbeville; two sisters: Judi Carlson of Sand Springs, OK and Jeri Urban (John) of Milford, DE; and one granddaughter: Heather Broxton.
Funeral services will be held at 12:30 Tuesday, November 10 at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Randy Strickland and Rev. Billy Slatten officiating. Burial will follow at M. J. “Dolly” Cooper Veterans’ Cemetery.
The family is at the home of a brother-in-law, James Smith, 2 Harvey Drive, Honea Path, and will receive friends from 11:30 – 12:30 at the funeral home, prior to the service. Messages of condolence may be left for the family at www.ParkerWhitePruitt.com.
