Ed Craft

Honea Path – James Edward Craft, 71, husband of Essie Marie Davis Craft, of 1327 Chiquola Ave., died Saturday, October 24th, 2015 at his home.

Born in Anderson County, he was a son of the late Thamer Robert and Lexie Dorie Garner Craft. He attended Free Will Missionary Chapel and was a retired mechanic, having worked for Garner’s Garage.

Surviving in addition to his wife of the home are three sons: David Craft, Shannon Craft, and Thomas Campbell; one daughter: Michelle McCoy; three brothers: Frankie, Donnie and Ronnie Craft; two sisters: Mary Bradshaw, and Diane Goss; nine grandchildren: Timothy Campbell of the home, J.T. Campbell, Haley Campbell, Terry Campbell, Angel McCoy, Casey Kelly, Josh Kelly, Caitlin Kelly and Austin Kelly; and three great-grandchildren: Elijah McGaha, Payton Kelly and Cason Kelly.

Mr. Craft was preceded in death by four brothers: Alton, Hoyt, Billy, and Dean Craft.

He is also survived by two special pets: Little Britches and Doodle Butt Craft.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 PM Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at Pruitt Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Cooper and Rev. Jackie Brady officiating. Burial will follow at Eastview Cemetery.

The family is at the home, and will receive friends Tuesday from 1-3 PM at the funeral home, prior to the service.
