Born in HavanaCuba, she was a daughter of Alfredo and Edelmira Vareca Nuñez. She was of the Catholic faith and retired from retail sales.
Surviving are: two daughters, Maria Fant and husband Greg of Jensen Beach FL, and Edelmira Gables and husband George of Honea Path, a sister, Guillermina Rodriguez, eight grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by three brothers, Alfredo, Francisco and Manuel Nuñez, and a sister, Isabell Camaetto.
Memorial services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, September 12, 2015 at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Deborah Broadwell officiating.
The family is at the home of her daughter, 932 Brick Mill Rd, Honea Path and will receive friends from 2:30-3:30 p.m. Saturday prior to the service at the funeral home.
