Born in OconeeCounty, she was a daughter of the late Sam and Carrie Walt Medlin. She was a member of WareShoalsPentecostalHolinessChurch, was retired from Riegel Textile Corp and was a member of the Quarter Century Club.
Surviving are a brother, D.C. (Aileen) Medlin of Central, several nieces and nephews, and her loving pet dog, Brat.
In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a brother, William “Pete” Medlin, and three sisters, Lenora Gregory, Rubye Vinson and Ella May Medlin.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, August 14, 2015 at Parker-White Funeral Home with Rev. Mac Jones and Rev. Tony Irby officiating. Burial will be private.
The family will be their respective homes and will receive friends 2 – 3 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to Hospice Care of the Piedmont, 408 W. Alexander Ave., Greenwood, SC29646.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of the special caregivers that assisted them with Mrs. Lettie’s care. Your kindness will never be forgotten.
