Born in Donalds, she was a daughter of the late Marvin and Fannie Dotson Dunlap. She was twice married first to the late Roy Lee Hughes. She was a member of the Honea Path First Baptist Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Lynne Hughes King and husband Dr. William King, a step-daughter, Annelle McGee Fowler and husband Dick, a brother, Larry Dunlap, a sister Frances May, three grandchildren, Will King, Lindsay Hurley, and Parker King, two step-grandchildren, English Edward and Mason Fowler, and a great-granddaughter, Chloe Hurley. She was pre-deceased by two brothers, Lamar Dunlap and David Dunlap, and a sister Ruth Dunlap Hancock.
Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday, June 16 at the Garden of Memories, Belton, with Chaplain Tim Pond officiating.
The family is at their respective homes, and will receive friends following the service at the graveside. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that memorial donations be made to Providence Care Hospice, 202 Wall St., Piedmont, SC 29673.
