Born in Hollywood FL, he was a son of the late William Ray and Bertha Lou Garner Frankum. He was a member of the Williamston Church of God, and a steel worker at Tate Steel. He was loved by his wife and children.

Surviving in addition to his wife of the home are three daughters, Lisa ( Shannon) Holloway of Donalds, Sandy Frankum (Christopher Gainey) of Honea Path and Tammy Orsini (Curtis Boyd) of Gaffney; two step daughters, Tammy and Cynthia; one brother, Johnny (Deborah) Frankum of Belton; three sisters, Darlene(Edward) Hunter, Montez Vale both of Anderson and Windell ( Johnny) Brown of Iva; eight step-grand children and four step great-grand children.

A funeral service will be held at 3p.m. Saturday, March 7^th 2015 at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Alan Rhodes and Rev. Tab Scarborough officiating.  The family will receive friends from 1-3pm prior to the service.
