Born in Abbeville County, she was a daughter of the late Herman and Alice Haynes. She was a member of Honea Path Church of God and retired from the Honea Path Shirt Plant.
Surviving are: two step-daughters, Linda Larkin of TX and Betty Black of Honea Path, five grandchildren, including Dawn (Patrick) Hanks, with whom she made her home, and a great-grandson, Jakob Phillips. She was predeceased by a step-son, James Lollis, a daughter, Cheryl Branyon, two brothers, David and Dougar Haynes, and a sister, Ruby Alewine.
Funeral services will held at 3 p.m. Friday, December 19, 2014 at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Chaplain Timothy Pond. Burial will follow in
