Ware Shoals – Betty Smith McKee, 86, widow of Herman R. McKee, of 6 N. Greenwood Ave. Ext. died at Self Regional Medical Center Wednesday, December 10, 2014. She was born in Greenwood County, a daughter of the late Roy and Ozella Williams Smith and was a member of Ware Shoals First Baptist Church. She was a retired secretary for Riegel Textile Corp.
Surviving are a son, Kenneth Herman McKee of Ware Shoals, two grandchildren, James B. McKee and wife Amy of Honea Path and Kevin H. McKee and wife Connie of Waterloo.
She was predeceased by a brother, Junior Smith and two sisters, Margie Hughes and Nina Bowen.
Graveside Services will be conducted Saturday, 11 am at Greenwood Memorial Gardens with Rev. Leon Jones officiating.
