Honea Path – Billy Nelson Wright, 83 of 240 Shirley Dairy Road, husband of Ethel Cave Wright, died Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at Rainey Hospice House.
Born in Honea Path, he was a son of the late Humphrey Aaron Wright and Ethel Nelson Wright. He was a member of Barkers Creek Baptist Church and was a 20 year Veteran of the U.S. Navy.
Surviving are his wife of the home, one son; Patrick Wright (Pam) of Anderson; daughter, Molly Wright Costa of Honea Path; two sisters, Mildred Kay and Martha Boggs both of Honea Path; grandson, Paul Wright (Jessica) of Maryville, TN. He was predeceased by a son, Timothy Aaron Wright and son-in-law, Paul Costa.
Funeral services will be held 1 PM Thursday at Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery conducted by Rev. Paul Bayer. The family will speak to friends after the service at the cemetery.
The family is at the home and respectfully request that flowers be omitted and memorials made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621.
