Willard Hall

Ware Shoals – Willard Ethridge Hall, 85, husband of Alma Bannister Hall, of 327 Maddox Bridge Rd, died Sunday, March 30, 2014 at Hospice of Laurens County.

Born in Greenwood County, he was a son of the late John and Ella Smith Hall. He attended Gethsemane Church and was retired from Riegel Textile Corp.

Surviving in addition to his wife of the home are: a son, Roger Hall of Ware Shoals, a brother, Melvin Hall of Sumter, a sister, Marie Burriss of Ware Shoals, two grandchildren, Christie Lowe and husband Mark of Ware Shoals and Joel Hall and wife Veronica of Hodges, and four great-grandchildren, Nathan and Noel Lowe and Abby and Ashlea Hall. He was predeceased by a brother, Ernest Hall and a sister, Macie Babb.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at Harmony United Methodist Church cemetery with Rev. Mark Lowe and Rev. Dan Compton officiating.

The family is at the home and will receive friends immediately following the service at the graveside. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Laurens County, 1304 Springdale Dr., Clinton, SC 29325 or to Gethsemane Church, 49 Ballentine Lake Rd, Ware Shoals, SC 29692.
