Kay Parks

 

Honea Path – Vickie Kay Dukes Parks, 53, widow of William Leonard Parks, Jr. of 5729 Keowee Rd, died Friday, January 17, 2014 at her home.

 

 

Born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of Faye Pruitt Dukes and the late William Dukes. She was a member of Crossroads Fellowship Church and retired from Chiqoula Mills. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother who lived for her child and grandchildren.

Surviving in addition to her mother of Honea Path are: a son, William Parks, III and wife Jennifer of Honea Path, mother-in-law, Alley Parks, of Honea Path, two brothers, Marshall Dukes of LA and David Dukes of Honea Path, a sister, Diane Sparrow of LA, and two grandchildren, Elizabeth and Blaine Parks and a special friend, Jim McAlister.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, January 20, 2014 at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Paul Cooper officiating. Burial will follow in Eastview cemetery.
