Bill Parris

Honea Path – William “Bill” Holland Parris, 81, husband of Jessie Brock Parris, of 678 Tornado Road, died Monday, January 06, 2014 at Rainey Hospice House.

Born in Anderson County he was a son of the late K.C. and Lucia Moore Parris. He was a member of Hodges Church of God and was formerly employed at Riegel Textile Co.

Surviving are his wife of the home; a son, William Eugene Parris of Honea Path; a brother, Burley Parris of Honea Path; two sisters, Polly Oliver and Jean Bryant both of Anderson. He was pre-deceased by a sister, Betty Phillips and a granddaughter, Shannon Parris.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 P.M. Wednesday at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Earl Quick and Rev. James Allen officiating.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 P.M. Wednesday at Pruitt Funeral Home prior to the service. The family is at their respective homes. Online condolences may be made at www.ParkerWhitePruitt.com
