Ware Shoals – Lolila Owens O’Dell, 89, widow of Henry Arthur O’Dell, of 13034 Indian Mound Rd, died Tuesday, December 31, 2013.
Born in Laurens County, she was a daughter of the late George and Ollie McNeely Owens. She was a lifetime member of Mt Gallagher Baptist Church and the Sunshine Sunday School class. She was retired from Tavern Sportswear. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Surviving are: four sons, Ron O’Dell, Sr. and wife Nancy, Stanley O’Dell, Tim O’Dell and wife Susan, and Phil O’Dell and wife Arlene all of Ware Shoals, a sister, Lula Manley and husband James of Ware Shoals, eight grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild. She was predeceased by a son, Gregg O’Dell, a brother, and two sisters.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, January 3, 2014 at Mt. Gallagher Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Marcus Bishop, Rev. Chris Hudson and Chaplain Ron O’Dell, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family is at their respective homes and will receive friends 12:30 – 1:30 p.m. Friday at the church prior to the service. Memorials may be made to the Mt.
