Honea Path – Olin Harvell, 90, of 105 Heyward Ave., husband of Louise Jones Harvell, died Monday, December 02, 2013, at Anmed Health.
Born in Anderson County, he was a son of the late Frederick Houston and Ida Mae Lollis Harvell. He was a member of Chiquola Baptist Church, and he worked in textiles for 53 years at Chiquola Mills.
In addition to his wife of 66 years, Mr. Harvell is survived by a son: Dan Harvell and wife Ann of Belton; two grandchildren: Riley Harvell and wife Erin, and Ellison Harvell; and two great-grandchildren: Olin and Adger Harvell.
He was predeceased by four brothers: C. D. Harvell, Albert Harvell, Claude Harvell, and Ralph Harvell; and two sisters: Maedell Harvell, and Ethel Harvell.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at Chiquola Baptist Church with Rev. Ronnie Powell officiating. Interment will be private.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Tuesday at Chiquola Baptist Church.
