Born in Ware Shoals, SC, he was the son of Mildred Roberts Taylor and the late Albert Marion Taylor and He was member of Ware Shoals First Baptist Church, retired from the U.S. Postal Service, and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, Vietnam War.

He is survived by his mother Mildred Roberts Taylor of Ware Shoals, his wife, Louise Manley Taylor of the home, four daughters, Jennifer T. Thomason of Hartwell, GA., Heather T. Moss of Ware Shoals, SC, Miranda T. Gaillard of Honea Path, SC, and Kayla Taylor of Honea Path, SC, two brothers Stanley Taylor of Kennesaw, GA., and Richard Taylor of Powdersville, SC., ten grand children and one great grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Thursday, September 5, 2013 at Ware Shoals First Baptist Church with Rev. Leon Jones and Rev. Luther Thomason officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
