Born in Whitmire, he was a son of the late William McKinley and Ruth Elizabeth Crayne. He was a member of Donalds Church of God, and worked in textiles as head colorist. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He loved playing the guitar for his church, sharing the Word of God, the outdoors, and his home life.
In addition to his wife of the home, he is survived by two sons: Chad Lamar Crayne and wife Angie of Morristown, TN, and Steven McKinley Crayne of Simpsonville; one daughter: Elizabeth Leighann Lafoy and husband Thomas of Mauldin; one brother: Ronald William Crayne and wife Linda of Laurens; and six grandchildren: Kaden, Koen, Keara, Cadence,
He was predeceased by one sister: Linda Diane Cook.
He also loved his pets: ‘King’ George, Tigger, and his birds.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1:00 PM at Donalds Church of God, with Rev. James Ray Lollis and Rev. Tim Taylor officiating. Burial will follow at the
