Hodges – Janet Elizabeth Riley McKee, 82, wife of Horace Harvey McKee, Jr., of 1119 Riley Rd North, died Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at her home.
Born in Greenwood County, she was the daughter of the late Samuel Capers and Bertha Cooper Riley. She was a member of Ware Shoals United Methodist Church where she had served as Choir Director, Pianist, and Treasurer in the past. She was retired from Cambridge Academy.
Surviving in addition to her husband of the home are: two sons, Tim McKee and wife Doris of Rock Hill and Mark McKee and wife Sherry of Ware Shoals, ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at1:30 p.m. Sunday, June 30, 2013 at Ware Shoals United Methodist Church with Rev. Tina Thomas officiating. The family request casual wear for the service.
The family is at the home and will receive friends from 1-1:30 p.m. at the church prior to the service.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ware Shoals United Methodist Church, PO Box 59, Ware Shoals, SC 29692 or to Boy Scout Troop #902, 1508 Miller Rd, Hodges, SC 29653.
