Donalds - Jerry Junior Brock, 87, widower of Mattie Elsie Whitt Brock, of 1867 Hook Road, died Thursday, May 16, 2013 at Petra Health and Rehab of McCormick.
Born in Abbeville County, he was a son of the late William Todd and Emma Smith Brock. He was a member of Keowee Baptist Church, and was retired from Riegel Textile Corporation, and he loved gardening.
Surviving are one son: Ronnie Brock of Anderson; one daughter, Janice Phillips and husband Dale of Honea Path; one brother, Ollie Brock of Honea Path; four sisters, Evelyn Paris, Lois Hall, Martha Gambrell, and Christine Johns, all of Honea Path; two grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 PM on Sunday, May 19, 2013 at the Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Mike Linkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories.
The family is at the home of his daughter, 411 Hawthorn Road, Honea Path, and will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM Sunday, prior to the service at the funeral home.
