Honea Path – Wilma Ashley Vaughn, 82, widow of James R. Vaughn, formerly of 3013 Keowee Road, died Saturday, March 02, 2013 at Rainey Hospice House.
Born in Abbeville County, she was a daughter of the late Ira and Margaret Link Ashley. She was a member of Keowee Baptist Church and was retired from Mayfair Mills.
Surviving are a daughter, Rita Aiken of Honea Path, two brothers, Billy Ashley and Carol Lee Ashley, both of Calhoun Falls, two sisters, Brenda McMahan of Iva and Judy Burgess of Anderson, five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. She was pre-deceased by a daughter, Shirley McClain.
Graveside Services will be held at 3 P.M. Tuesday at the Garden of Memories. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Monday at Pruitt Funeral Home. The family is at the home of a sister-in-law, Rachael Brock, 417 Airport Rd., Anderson. Parker-White-Pruitt Funeral Home and Crematory in charge of arrangements.
